Summary:
1.1. To raise awareness widely of the region’s richness of natural values and active preservation and presentation of these values.
1.2. Primary school children and their teachers, cultural, economic and political decision-makers, and tourists.
1.3. Intensive environmental teaching programme in the primary schools of Sátoraljaújhely. To continue the reconstruction of the increased protected Istvánkút area with birch trees. Publication of a summary publication about Zemplén Region’s natural values. Display of informative notice-boards about the local flora’s species. Arrangement and organisation of the Zemplén Ecotourism Heat IV and V.
1.4. The teachers of educational institutions, the cultural institutions’ (libraries, community centres, museums) experts. The staff of tourist offices.
1.5. Our partners are the primary schools of Sátoraljaújhely. ELTE TTK Biological Institute Plant Toxonomy, Ecological and Theoretical Professorship. Management of the Aggtelek National Park. The Kazinczy Ferenc Museum. Museum of the Hungarian Language. Zemplén Amusement Park. Várhegy Holiday home. Sátoraljaújhely – Hegyköz Tourism Society. The acquired knowledge, the practices are infiltrating into the working practices of enviromental education of the institutes. The values and attitudes of the tourist enterprises are changing, the environment-friendly utilizations modes are coming to the front.
