Summary:
Title of the project: The last straw
The goal of the project is to promote an ecological building method in two regions of the country, which could help many families to become independent from the ever increasing energy prices.
Target groups are young adults and middle age people basically from the middle income class as well as architect experts and authority employees of building affairs.
Main activities are: a Web 2 campaign, media campaign, training, outdoor demonstrations, representation of interests in permission procedures, elaboration of a community strawbale construction financing scheme, establishing a strawbale library, elaboration of an on-line education material, creation and operation of a fundraising strategy.
The project involves volunteers and colleagues of the foundation: Tímea Ilyés, Márton Révész, Titusz Igaz and László Zalatnay.
During project implementation the applicant cooperates with the Strawbale Builders Association. Publicity of the project will contribute to the financing of future work, only future developments will require further subsidies. Indirect goal of the project is to help the long term financial autonomy of the foundation.
