Summary:
1. Title: Promoting sustainable consumption and rural lifestyle in B-A-Z county
2. Goals, objectives:
- promoting sustainable consumption among high school students in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county
- promoting innovative and environmentally friendly rural lifestyle among young people
- subject be integrated into the secondary school's education
Our main result been strengthening the relationship between youth and the sustainable farming and consumption in rural areas.
3. Target group:
- the high school students and their teachers of the county
- innovative farmers in the county
- local population
4. Methods, activity:
- extraordinary lessons about sustainable food consumption
- farm visits for school groups
- creative applications in the project subject
- traveling exhibition from the artworks
- for best participants the organization of a sustainability weekend
- preparation of methodological materials and publications on the subject
5. Partners:
- AZÉRTKE and ATE called NGOs organize the school programs, farm visits and the creative decorative application in Zemplén
- Ecological Institute for Sustainable Development and Gömöri KTE organize the sustainability weekend
- a minimum of 10 to 10 school program and farm visit/school year
- a minimum of 25 artwork, and their presentation on the markets
- traveling exhibition in at least 10 high schools in the county
- 1-1 methodological material and publication for high schools
