Summary:
Work and proximity to nature at the Autistic Manor
Our objective is development of social services of the Autistic Family Home.
Our target group is 65 autistic persons with disabilities receiving care at the Autistic Family Home run by the Foundation, and elderly, chronically ill people living in Miskolc, for who we provide meals (about 100 people).
Our plan is expansion of therapeutic care and employment for autistic people by building greenhouses on our real estate in Miskolc (for vegetables and fruit growing), and development of the livestock and expansion of cultivated asre at our autistic Manor in Szakáld.
The produced goods (vegetables, fruit, eggs, goat milk, pork, poultry, rabbits and goats) will be used up by our kitchen, where - in addition to the people in care and the workers - we provide meals also for elderly and chronically ill people living in Miskolc (as a help).
We are planning now renovation of dilapidated kitchen, installation of energy-saving devices and solar installation to make economical operation of the "Love Kitchen".
We'd like to transact the project individually, by 3-person project management. The program would contribute significantly the development and sustainability of the work-rehabilitation of autistic people, meals for the elderly target group, and like this the conditions of supply, quality of life. As member of Manor Network, we pass our experiences to other member organizations who they can develop their own services.
