Summary:
Household money management counselling services
The goal of the project is to help families, living in Tiszavasvári micro-region on 10 of his settlements, with household economy issues. The project aims to reveal the risks of financial obligation and make families aware of these risks. We are willing to take an active part in managing of bankruptcy.
The target group of the project with a low educational level and poor advocacy skills, who are living in deep poverty, with special regard to single parent families, inhabitants of segregated settlements and gypsy people.
We are setting up a counselling network with professional counsellors and volunteers.
A longer course will be organised for counsellors on the topics of community-based social services as well as financial awareness and debt management. A shorter training is planned to develop skills of volunteers.
In addition to counselling services we provide dept management for the sake of preservation of safety living. We support disadvantaged groups with legal aid.
In the project we cooperate with family assistance services, NGO’s, Gypsy Minority Self-Governments and local churches.
Methods, procedures of the project and knowledge, experience of the local experts will be integrated into the practice of local social services.
