Summary:
The objective of the Project is to promote the opportunity of learning from one another; to enhance cooperation between NGOs operating in underprivileged communities. The location of implementation is the underprivileged micro region of Nyírbátor. The objective is to adopt best practices i.e. gaining, learning and later sharing good experience; accumulating experience-based knowhow and the application thereof among the partners. The Program shall be implemented in two settlements. (Experience transfer – Bátorterenye; actual implementation - Nyírgyulaj). Planned actions: workshop discussions; organising community programmes. Launching an adult training course: agricultural worker training. Starting agricultural work in local communities. Assistance in becoming primary farmers. Experience transfer at Nyírgyulaj regarding the “Fuel from Waste” Program based on the Bátonyterenye examples. Debt settlement consultancy. Provision of professional / legal consultancy during the full period of the Project for communities living in the Nyírgyulaj and Nyírbátor micro regions.
Target Groups: Romany and non-Romany people with low qualifications who are also long-term unemployed, and those young people who are unemployed or do community service. The organisation that wishes to apply would like to share experience and knowhow with other settlements in the course of its future work.
