Summary:
The aim of the project is to strengthen the Association for the Community of Királd through the involvement and preparation of new people, in order that the community-based operation of institutions, particularly the Integrated Community Service Provision Platform (ICSPP) could be learnt. The direct target group is the members of the association, as well as the newly involved and activised people from the local community.
Personal discussions and interviews are initiated and regular community meetings are held for this purpose, where the commitment of people can be strengthened and the operation of the organisation and of ICSPP are mutually planned throughout the process of community learning. During a 40-hour community worker training, participants are able to acquire the basics of community work, and learn about the organisation and operation of services and institutions in a community-based approach. To strengthen the community and to present the activities to the settlement, 3 programme events are planned to take place during the project.
The new approach of institutional operation applied as a result of the project efforts will serve the whole settlement, where all inhabitants of Királd may express their ideas through the acts of the people willing to take actions for the community.
