Summary:
The basic aim of our project is medical prevention in the target group of homeless people. To prevent the occurance of hepatitis by direct intervention ( vaccines) and lectures against hepatitis and TBC illnesses with films and other means.
From the direct group of targets, the 450 homeless people living in Nyíregyháza, 160 people are in the biggest danger.They are in constant connection with the local homeless accomodation system. Another direct group of targets are 40 people who work at this accomodation system. Our indirect group of targets are the inhabitants of our town, because they are in daily connection with the people who are in direct danger of the infections we mentioned.
People have to be vaccinated for three times to be protected for 22 years. We are planning series of lectures, projection of films and distribution of brochures to increase people's awareness in connection with these illnesses, and also show them the way out.
There are 4 people directly involved to the project. 1 doctor, who is responsible for the vaccination and the lectures. 2 people who organises the project and its administration part. The 3rd and 4th people are responsible for the connection between the group of tagets and the project, and have to maintain the motivation constantly .
Our project primarily cooperates with Oltalom charity organisation , because 90% of the direct group of targets belong there.
There is a guarantee that we will reach positive results finishing our pr.
