Summary:
The aim of the project is to try to eliminate a bad practice which is very widespread in the country and this is the burning trash at home in fireplaces. In order to achieve this, we will raise awarenness among people about the dangers of this practice, and we also show them the many existing and availabke possibilities to reduce and recycling their wastes. The wider gola of the project is to create a better, healthie living environment in our region.
The direct target group of the project is the inhabitants of 14 settlements in Eastern Hungary, in the Hajdúság region. This is not less than 120.000 people. Indirect target grouipa are residents of other parts of Hungary through the NGO-s.
Used methods and project activity:
•we deliver information brochure to 42500 households,
•we place out 10 giant posters in the beginning of the heating season to 6 frequented roadsides in the area
•we further develop our homepage with a specified link of the project
•we organize a workshop to the representatives of the NGO-s with press conference at the end.
•we produce a short documentary, which will be copie and distributed to regional and local TV channels.
During the project, we work together with other civil organizations (for information exchange), with relevant authorities (presentations, documents). The results of the project will be uploaded to our homepage so it will be available to others after project closing.
