Summary:
The MAIN GOAL of the project is to promote the development of children living in difficult family circumstances or under state care, by methods of fairy tale therapy, art- and handicraft-therapy. We lay special emphasis on:
- intellectual, emotional, moral and social development;
- improvement of self-image and future vision.
TARGET GROUP: 6-18 year old children living in difficult family circumstances or under state care. Target area: Heves County.
ACTIVITY, METHODS:
+ Fairy tale therapy courses (2*40 occasions, 12-12 children, content: treatment of fairy tales according to different themes, with verbal tools and handicraft-techniques):
- „Óperenciás” fairy tale circle
- „Round table meetings at the square table”
+Summer camps (2 * 6 days, 15-15 children):
- Motion training camp (pair and group exercises, relaxation techniques);
- Fairy tale creative camp (collective creation, integration-games).
+ Weekend course for self awareness (2 days, 20 girls, content: self-awareness lessons, solution of life crises through an „own tale”).

We cooperate with Child Protection Centre of Heves County. Results of the project can be utilised by schools, child protection institutes and other NGO-s through the implementation of methodology.
